The Sentient Space
where depth, connection, and healing meet.
Aries, MA, LPC, SEP
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). I work alongside individuals who are 18+ to heal from symptoms of trauma, stress, life transitions, perfectionism, anxiety, depression, and feeling disconnected and lost.
What do I believe about therapy?
Therapy offers space. Space to be exactly who you are and to explore that change is possible. Space to explore who you want to be. Space to connect with yourself, others and the environments that you want to exist in. Space to disconnect from systems or beliefs we do not like or hate. Space to connect with your internal world—the parts you may embrace or struggle with, along with the judgments, beliefs, and opinions you hold about yourself. Therapy offers space to process your past, to explore how your family’s generational patterns have shaped you, and to find a path forward that honors both your lineage and yourself.
I believe we deserve to rebuild ourselves, our world, relationships with others, and everything else as many times as we need too. I believe we deserve to experience joy, relief, safety and pleasure. We deserve to take up space, define who we are and who we want to be.
You got this
We are constantly changing and circumstances are constantly changing. During this change, we are tasked with transforming ourselves. As we are figuring ourselves out - we can learn to bring awareness, ease, and intention to our experience that can help us shape and serve the vision we have for ourselves. How do we honor, see, celebrate and build on the small shifts we are making? This is a question that we will stay curious about during therapy.
It takes a lot of courage to learn how to build trust over time with ourselves, our environments and our relationships. I am proud of you, and I hope you are proud of yourself for betting on you.
You deserve to be listened to and have a space where time can bend so you can find the many ways you can be and grow.
We are allowed to dive into and find our own liberation.
